Pammy my cousin was here today, catching up past hot chikas, tsismis and all sorts of seasoned gossips that tabloids are way to ordinary compared to our tell-tale-tell. To make our chikas more bounty and meaty, we chatted with boiled banana, salted fish, sweet potato tops salad, parrot fish seasoned and cooked called “larang”, of course prepared by me, perfect taste. Our chats were constantly disturbed by my terrible five. We survived and finished all at 8pm. Pammy had to travel far to her house, besides she has to work tomorrow. Next time around more will come, and I bet we are going to have a boost. Hooray today!
I am now in the Philippines, enjoying my vacation, as I used to do, bringing stuff to home country from discount baccarat cigars and wines to thong slippers are never forgotten. Though we have them all here in my home country, yet things and presents coming from abroad are way too priceless, as a small token. My imported stuff is gone too fast, and it seems that my vacay time is ticking off faster than a horse. I know that there would be more visits and travelling in the future. God bless us.
My first typhoon escapade in Cagayan de Oro City, lightning, a bit thunder and knee-deep water, it was flooding. Expect what’s next on the road, traffic jammed, broken cars and busy automobile lift/s. Were lucky enough that our transportation did not give up, running on the highway like floating in the water due to flood. It would take another day for this low pressure to ebb away. The flood did not stopped me from wandering around the city, I wore slipper.
The first thing I felt about the Philippines is the smell, pleasant or not, I felt at home. Then heat and humidity, at 12 passed midnight I’m already sweating, sneezing and my imported cough became harder and harder. The Philippines cities are congested with progress, that’s how I described it. Staying in the Philippines for couple of week’s vacay is exciting and full of fun. My 5-year old son asked me to stay in the Philippines forever and where just going to chat to Daddy in Canada every day. Ha ha ha we are really having fun.
My days in the Philippines started with Dahilayan Adventure Park in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. Amazing place to wind up and smell the breeze seasoned by pine trees aroma sparkled with the park’s fabulous and terrific ambience of no compare. On the following day, we had party at home exclusive for my friends and their families. So far so great! My first 7 days was fantastic.
What is this? This blackberry reminds me again of what my hubby wants. If I’m not stingy enough I would indulge on things that others have, but I count money like a bank to the last cent. I mean, I spend money for a reason and needs, not for what I or we like. Well, sometimes I do indulge of course but justifies, not just having them for the sake of having them. Our cell phone is 4 years old now, still working perfectly, hubby is bored of it, merely because it’s look too rugged and obsolete in style. I don’t want to spend extra for additional blackberry phone for dad. Why spend money for a cell phone when we can indulge something else and enjoy our old phone. Ha ha ha, we laughed in unison.
This title is way too difficult to prove right now, in my case. I’m on my 8th- day in the Philippines, if the rests of the vacationers waving their bucket list, my scroll is called the “bowl list”. I must and should eat the foods that I have been missing, and the foods that are not available in Toronto. Although there are many Filipino foods and products available in Canada, but many are not. That is, I have to indulge in eating, there is no way I could manage to think about weight right now, so any thoughts of diet pill that works, is move aside for now. I really need to eat and indulge Filipino foods. Otherwise it would take me another four years to taste the Filipino foods again. Whoever stopped me to indulge the foods? Have no mercy. He he he.
