For quite some time ago, I was bragging that our mall nearby is opening a new Chinese restaurant, that I assumed a sister restaurant of our favourite resto that settles far from our place. So we have to drive. It was opened yesterday and today was the testing day for us. We tried our favourite usual dishes, and it was indeed the sibling of our favourite resto, per taste demand. Bon appétit, magnificent and delicious was our words. I bet our savings will be loosening this time since the mall is only wink walks from home. Why they cook so good. Ha ha ha, not going inside everyday okay. We have no vices, like smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, neither shopping nor going out country driving, that is we’re stuck at home. So, I say eating is our family bonding time.
School is fun during the beginning of the school year classes, and happiness deteriorates as homework’s and other school works bugs to sometimes happy go lucky times. But when the school playground turns like a carnival during play day, BBQ atmosphere and all the play ground fun. School seemed so hard to miss or bid by our goodbyes for summer break. Me, who also goes to school every day from September until the end of the school year for our son, need a break as well.
He must be just making fun of us or serious, anything will happen. We had great BBQ day in my son’s school today. BBQ that we ordered last month, so we only have tickets to carry in exchange of our BBQ and snacks, it was a sunny late afternoon, biting sun in fact. Then, in front of the queue there we heard a man asking for a receipt of his 40 dollars worth of BBQ. Is he kidding?! This BBQ is one of the fun raising activities of the school council, so why bother asking for a receipt? Silly bugger! If I’m at the back of him I should have told him that the council doesn’t have any receipt printer and stuff. Then, we all laugh with the receipt hullabaloos. He was laughing to his gut, he is part of the community, he was just making the day more lively and fun.
Our son’s school barbecue was fantastically terrific with blasting fun. Face painting, balloon thingy and the best attraction is the fire truck and water games that makes the day fun fun fun and wet wet. I never have thought that the firemen would play water with the kids. Kids are not listening to their parents and guardians they got wild, laughter echo in unison with delightful cheers, more more more water, and fire truck suddenly stops the water fountain, there was fire or fire alarm somewhere. Kids was devastated, they continued their running and playing. Then, there the fire truck came back with another blast of water spewed up high like fountain, and fell to the ground where silly funny delighted kids enjoyed the soak that parents and guardians, say nothing but sigh in delight.
We all had fun that would be the last community fun in school for the year, since the school is almost over, just another 15 days less, actually 10 more school days. Then, hooray! Summer is on.
In June 25, Filipino community in the Greater Toronto Area will be having the biggest events for the year. There would be Little Miss Philippines-Canada 2011 Coronation day, then many of the Philippines businesses will show case their products and services through Trade show display. These would be my biggest event to be attended with friends. Gosh, I’m so excited with the coronation for the Little Miss Philippines-Canada pageant 2011, because there’s a possibility that we will bring home the crown. One of my friends’ daughters is one of the contestants. We already took home three trophies. All in all, I’m excited of the whole events. Good luck! To all of us.
We live in the world that is full of adventures, technology and many things that make its occupants live a life to the fullest. Good for us! But at home we lived simple, and live the things what we have, no major debts, except our car loan, not crazy paying too much bills, just the basic ones, and living-in the apartment that caters all the maintenances. We loved to eat, roam around the city, visit places nearby and if pockets afford we jump aboard to other countries. We never spoil our only son with toys that is expensive or like video games. But lately, we’re invited to a birthday and my boy was engulfed with the power of Wii, oh yah! We don’t have Wii, it’s not a money issue. To make things short, we bought one as he is so in to it. We have the original games, the games that go with the console and with the entire single gadget like the remote control. We play turns, so buying extra wii remote controller is not an issue but for now there is no use for it. Besides, my son and hubby played during weekends that are the rules. So right now, he is watching TV cartoons, play with his toys that are after reading his school book. I’m not too strict with his routines he is still in kindergarten, besides he knows the drill at home and school.
Throughout our lives there is one, two or many things in this world that we loved most, there are too many things for me to jot down if I have enough space for this post. When it comes to movies, I have watched “Holiday” with Cameron Diaz and Jude Law, in fact I could not count how many many times I’ve watched it, too many times that I have just finished watching it. I don’t fell bored of it, no monotony, not even a single dialogue I memorize, for the love of it. I want to cherish every moment I played my DVD. What’s your favorite thing that kills time?
Who is really asking for a paternity testing while pregnant? There are so many reasons why, how and who will ask for the testing, but why? Technology these days are too sophisticated that we could create another fellow of us, like cloning! I don’t want to be replicated. Back to the paternity testing, a multimillionaire/billionaire man may be want to make it sure that he’s heir is his blood, and not by others, could this be possible application to mistresses who bears the millionaires baby? Naughty boys!
Yah, great! You’re scaring me. Have you heard or read somewhere about a metal building or metal buildings in planet Mars caught by the satellite genius cameras? I just hope that the curious human race on earth build the building for some sort of stuff reasons, and I don’t want to hear in the future that there is really local inhabitants out there. It seems that the pandora’s planet is real. Hu hu hu, seeing blue creatures is quite surprising, but what if the Mars locals are way too surprising?
Filipino community here in Toronto was holding the Little Miss Philippines- Canada 2011. I would be lying if I’d say I did not enjoy the day, I was totally delighting experience with the Filipinos cheering each candidate for the event. I was with my usual group of friends. Our little girl won at least one special award and two major awards that could hopefully bless her to triumphant crown. My past weekends are always been so exciting, fun, jolly and lively. As if the world stops rotating for awhile for us to enjoy the moments of “will never happens again”.
This coming Saturday, our so-feel-already winner Little Miss Philippines-Canada will be celebrating her 8th birthday, without a doubt it will be another fabulous bash with all the friends coming together again eating, chatting and planning for the final pageant entourage dramas.
