Yesterday brought the first drop of snow, I thought that Toronto would be white again. Yes, the City was covered with snow but it was short lived because the sun came out shining. Usually, I don’t like snow when we have to go outside to do something important. But yesterday, its Saturday my lazy day, snowfall doesn’t bother me. Gosh, were lucky that the 20-40 cm snow did not pour to our City but to other parts of the province. Hesss, I totally know how difficult that is.
Beside the lazy Saturday I had, I also have another boring Sunday. Sitting at home is better especially that I have no money to spare. Broke is me it is. Going out to window shop is good, but with my tot in tow! I don’t think so not to spare some for his snack. See, staycation is indeed could fatten the piggy.
For the rest who did not sleep or who could not sleep rather will get a hot choco drink. I hope that hot choco will work out well to the insomniacs. That is, there will never be good natural sleeping aids for them but will sort to sleeping pill. Sleepless night’s good riddance, you’re not welcome. I have heard people, who have suffered sleepless nights, and never seen or heard from my circle of relatives and friends. Imagine, you could not sleep? It’s my favorite past-time. I could get sick having them.
Whew! Winter break once again, two weeks of no school preparation and rushing, glory to all. That’s how excited I am, though the winter break is still two weeks far, I’m counting on it. And, you know what? I don’t even go to school but my tot. Ha ha ha, hey! Who is not going to get crazy with the break when your life only revolves for kid school time? Gosh, How I wish I could have nerves to drive an RV going to the US in the coming school break. I am not bit worried with the motorhome repairs if there will be problems arises during the trip. The most bothersome is the maneuvering actions, traffics and navigation. Driving RV going to America is one of my most travel desires.
Mad indeed if you could not grab any of the things you wanted during the rush shopping of Black Friday. Well, if you missed it, there is still cyber Monday. Whew! We are not really running out of words when it comes to marketing blahs. Then, there is this commercialize Christmas celebration, the essence of giving is becoming sophisticated to the point of giving signature thingy and highly most awaited electronic gadgets. Sigh! Meowing about the coming holidays made me want to go back to the early age before the so-so or not so so-so generations. I mean, it’s not that we are not going to give. It’s that the presents we give is not enough to satisfy the receiver anymore. That also gives pressure to me as I browse around for holiday presents. Because of these feelings, sometimes I feel good celebrating the merry holiday’s away from home, which I did quite often. You can say that I want to get out of this gift giving pressures. Well, I am happy now for not browsing for the merry presents. But every time I go home to my beloved country, I make it sure that there’s always a party buffet for the entire relatives and friends to indulge. My way of paying back the presents that never been wrapped. Ha ha ha
Is the coming Friday so called Black Friday for Americans could be the right time for all of us to do our shopping for the merry holiday giving? They said that this particular Friday is the beginning of the saleescapade. I got it right, mannnn, I just paid all our bills and that means I am totally broke. What’s the CC for?! Are you kidding me, you want me to use my credit card now and be more broke or worst bankrupt in my future. I know what I want for Christmas, the whole lot of Cyber Monday, We are actually buying cameras and video cam in the coming Boxing Day. My family is waiting for the neck to neck sale and it’s worth waiting for. We don’t really indulge having or giving presents for the holidays, not Christian but we do enjoy the holiday sales and big thanks for the most awaited Christmas holidays.
My little man will be attending a party with me in two weeks time. Since he will be my escort, I have decided to dress him like the men's clothing in petite style. I’m just waiting for payday, hubby promised for our shopping. He should, this would be me and our son’s first party. While, my hubby have been enjoying parties for years. Well, there mostly work related parties. We are invited as well but I prepared to stay home.
I don’t recall the last time I have been to downtown Toronto. It’s been ages, I hope in Sunday will not rain or snow, Toronto will be having another Santa Clause Parade, another blast it is if the weather wants to cooperate. I love watching it, but I hate the long wait because it's terribly cold. Yes, there is no rain or snowing but the temperature is always below 10 degrees Celsius. Chilling to the bones it is. If hubby is working on Sunday, we better stay at home and if not he could be with us. I mean, once you are in a good spot of the parade, you better not move. And, if personal necessities persist at least there is someone watching our spot, either hubby or me, for the sake of our tot who happen to love and waited Santa for 364 days. He he he.
Though Christmas is still far, but my mind is already set to start buying presents, especially for our bugging terrible. Gosh, he seems to know what to get, TV ads and store fliers are everywhere. What’s with these people giving us all the junks and drooling sales?I have no money yet. It took me ages to decide which one to get, playstation 3 or Wii. Playstation I guess is good before the invention of Wii that is bit wholesome. I bet you know what I like now. I just told you!
You may be planning to finish the “living fit” 2010 New Year’s resolution before this year will end. But you are also circling dates for the holiday partee. I was just harping about dieting using the bananas-monkey dos diet. You may be getting thinner and lots of money, imagine saving all those restaurants and burgers money, and stick to bananas. So, what’s the catch? Simply, you are not healthy at all. Are there any foods that burn fat? I’m not really sure about this, but if you go around the words. This must be non-fat or low calorie foods, if that’s the case. That is, your body fat will work out for the needed energy or replenishes the needs of the body. In short, excess fats now is use to supplement.Wow! Interesting, banana diet seems to be working.
Speaking of luck, my son loves cars, toys or real ones. He always asked to buy one or more, but of course there is time for toys shopping. He knows when to buy and never give a fuss when dropping by the toy store. Many times when we walk-by any nice or catchy cars in the parking lot he would ask if we could buy a car like that, or like this. I said, of course anything you like as long as we will win the lottery. You know what, he prays to God that let mommy win lotto so that we could buy a car that he likes. Gee, we have a car, but it seems that his likes for car toys, also applicable to real big car. It’s cute though, that every time he sees something that needs to be purchased, he right away prays for me to win the lottery. Ha ha ha.
Do you really need to read a product reviews to buy any? May be, maybe or sure, not all product reviews applies to me. I have to try it first though some are based on my relatives and friends opinions. I mean, they have used it. How about anti aging product review? Again, my decision to buy are mostly based on mouth to mouth reviews, that is I don’t buy products particularly for face that I’m not familiar with. Not necessarily that I’ve used them before, but the brand itself. The brand that tells story of success could certainly get my attention.
It’s about time to bark about buying fitness equipment, since we already started enjoying the smorgasbord of the holidays. I wish I could afford to buy any of the refurbished fitness equipment like treadmill. If given a chance to own one, I’ll be crazy looking a space for it at home. Our small apartment is just enough for the three of us and with all the toys our son accumulated. I don’t want to be running in the chilly veranda. For now, I will just run outdoors. Nope, walk will do just find.
My every weekday morning time devoted for my tot’s school and until lunch time, since he is in kindergarten, he only attends class for 2 hours and half. And for me, those times are spend in the nearby mall sitting on the bench mostly reading. But today’s reading was the most dramatic. Brenda Joyce made me cry of her “An Impossible Attraction”, luckily I have sniffles and if not, it would have been very obvious that I’m overly drawn in to my reading. Oh gracious! I forgot it’s almost time to pick up my tot. At home, had lunch and it’s time for afternoon nap. Oh no, no, no do you think I could spend a little while to nap than finish my reading. I lie down, read and read and continue crying, the story is almost done. Yet, the heartbreaking love story seems ending the crying ever after. I have reached the end of it, and it ends quite happily ever after.
What a coincidence? I have a friend whom I met in the schoolyard, were together waiting for our kids to be with us after school hours. The waiting is on and on until the end of the school year, we actually live nearby the school, so school bus is not an option. We and our families are here in Canada for our so called Canada dream. That is, we are immigrants who endures the hurdles of application processing with our millions of savings to come here, find the better life for our families and even thought that maybe our millions of spending will end up more millions of better life. We don’t dream to be millionaires, but yes, we were indeed 1 million richer compare to others. Gamble is the name. Actually, we are not coming here if there was/are no promises, that we can get a job based on our expertise. In short, we also invested money for our education to get the added points. Our entry to our new country is difficult and expensive.
Well, I am still here and bloody hell angry with my previous dream that now become a nightmare. To make my story short, my friend whom I’ve mentioned earlier, after 8 years of living in a dream, have fully awaken in the middle of her nightmare. She and her family will go back to India for good. She could not bear to accept the horrible hurdles and sort of discrimination of job hunting.Her last sort was knocking and asking for any retail jobs in the vicinity. She was turned down, not thrice but numerous times just enough to remind her that she is still feeling the nightmare under the sun. She has her own stories of job hunting. I know how it feels because we are rowing the same boat. I have nightmares once in a while. For now, I choose to stare in blank than surrender. I could but I can’t.
Our Disneyland fun plan in summer is unfortunately postponed indefinitely. There is some improvement and detour for our summer trip, me any my sister’s family will be heading to the Philippines for a real summer fun fun. We will just hope that the torrential rains and typhoons will be kind to us and hope that they will be dropping quite little bit, and not to the point that we will be jamming the home. So long Orlando, we might see you in the far future and that depend on our pockets. I’m so dreaming to do joey ride with the cab, how? Of course, the orlando car rental, that is, for every country or places me and my family visited, I will never leave the place without my joey ride, just around the city or around town. I mean, not really to all city or town, I just pick which one has more to show. If London has red tour bus, then any local transportation will do same feelings. Try it!
My son is not a meat eater. You could call him slightly vegetarian, as he prepares eating vegetables than deliciously cook chicken meat. Today’s lunch is pizza with mushroom and tender beef. The beef is covered with mushroom. And, if you want to feed your tot with meat better stick to the mushroom only and let the beef cooked under it. As I said, it’s mushroom and cheese. Yum yum yum, the word was spilled thrice, enough for mommy’s delight. The brain is talking, gnashing softly and say “I hope he’s not going to notice the beef”. After 22 minutes voooala! Pizza is ready and it only took less than five minutes for him to notice the uninvited part of the lunch. What do you expect?! I picked bits and pieces of tender beef so as the mushrooms. He doesn’t seem wants to be duped by the looks. Just rid all the toppings off.
How many of us are really in to dieting using the power of pills? Oppps, please do not include me because I have never dreamt to try one. Losing weight for me is no biggie. Well, I’m not that fat, reducing weight is no haste. I do it slowly with proper diet or no diet at all. I mean this is the time when I’m not eating. Not healthy though, but when times like I’m excited, overly happy, or very sad. Eating is seems hard to swallow. Another good dose of losing weight, not healthy again, that is why I don’t need any of the Lipofuze to burn my fats. I have all the tools to slowly shed my fats. What are your fat burning tools?
This is not the right time to dream about summery thingy, like installing blinds & shades at home. Though, it is still autumn for the name of season, we hardly felt it but winter. It’s really cold outdoors and it is predicted that tomorrow will be snowing in great amount, and there’s a possibility that the first drop of snow would be tonight. Owowow, tomorrow will be whiter then. Yes, snow and luckily it’s Saturday, I don’t need to drive to school.
