The countless months of job searching and a couple of interesting interviews that bore nothing but hopes. I have never searched jobs before like I did these days. I had a post grad degree from one of the industrialize countries, have worked in two countries for ages and here they are all zero or substandard qualifications. Well, I just said that because I am bit frustrated. Imagine reading two types of newspapers everyday to have extra chances of finding a job, but all you can read that - this, that, he and she landed a job in good companies because they are disable and who has no experience in the job - this actually would increase or improve the companies integrity when it comes to diversities issue. I totally accept my defeat to a disable person who needs extra help. Today, annoying news to my lost, a transsexual who has no banking experience and background was given a banking job, because they (interviewee) said, she is known in the community. No one is to blame but there is something wrong with the diversity motto each company respectfully obliges to meet.
Are you the type of person who is meticulous or very particular to many things? For me, it depends! But most of the time I am simple and practical as long as the stuff that I‘m dealing with is for personal use. I live in simplicity and when I read the words sleep number bed, the first thing that pop in to my mind is about sleeping position. Don’t laugh! It was purely an immediate innocent comprehension. Ha ha ha! Actually, I’ve been eying this kind of bed on display in the mall nearby my Condo. Gosh! One day when I have enough cash to indulge, I will definitely savor the softness of the bed. But for now, it’s for my eyes only.
Speaking of getting pregnant!!! Baby wise, my family is planning to have a second baby but because I am not working at the moment and my hubby is working regular but not permanent, with the bad economy. Baby plan is set aside or may be it will never happen if the household income will never change to hearty purse. We are very careful and family planning is strictly followed. Though, my family is really very small adding one more would delight the granny’s, yet responsibility to raise, educate and care for them are too much work and pressures. I am too scared of the world, it’s not safe anymore.
Few days ago, I was in terrible shape mentally and physically. I got a bumpy tummy, a period that misses to visit for more than a week overdue. Yeah! I am getting fatter and it’s time to reduce weight, unfortunately at the same time, I thought that I am pregnant because I miss the red flag signal for the month. To all best diet pills, at first I have thought to explore your power to reduce my bumpy abdomen. That was the hasten plan and it seems that I will be bidding the diet pill goodbye and plan for the baby’s coming. Partly, I was terrified to know that may be I am pregnant. God, I have no job and my hubby’s income is enough for three mouths. I love to have another baby but the glooming economy and zero savings, its terrible to think with and it‘s not time yet. God really knows how I felt. I am not pregnant but only gain weight.
I was mumbling about being very poor and hopeful. Today’s headline, the country’s personal bankruptcy rate is rising to alarming digits. My fellow citizens who lost their homes, cars, and other properties and will be branded as bad creditors. The material things that were lost will be replaced but the emotional and psychological impacts are tremendous amount to be dealt with from today and the future. These could also harm and change our personal perspectives in life. The impacts of emptiness both inner feelings and handful material stuff could result to a devastated blow of one’s will to live a space we so called life.
My boy is now an energetic three’s, he is not a baby anymore that cry’s when hungry and wet. But, he is still a baby for us until he gets old. Since we moved a lot from at least three counties, we do not have much baby stuff with us except those useful ones and things that I could not bear to give. It has too many memories for me to let them go. I still have few of my maternity clothes which I converted it into wearable dresses, baby bedding, baby shoes and shirts just enough to fit in to my keepsake box. Yes! It’s a little bit bigger box than the usual shoe box size.

Since we arrived in this lovely cold country newspaper was/is one of our sources of information to get a job. Then, we did not know that that’s also the mild beginning of Canada’s recession. Just two months later after our arrival, the obvious signs of economic troubles begun, though the concerned government knows about the case but the dreaded issue was never recognized and publicly warn the citizens who’s jobs was in jeopardy. It was one of the reasons why the snap election in the country was conducted because the recession issue was already gripping the neck of the country’s draining wealth. It was thought that the election will solved the problem, election indeed was exercise and new policies to strengthen the nation’s economy was laid down and now implemented. We hope for the best of the nation and its people. Hopes are becoming another issue because of red tape. I know that I am poor in my first country and I did not expect that I am poorer in here, though optimistic that our recession in Canada will not last long as our hopes and struggles for brighter tomorrow overpowered our will to change.
Another year of Condo fixtures upgrading, this sounds good because we don’t have to fix and check the faucets, plumbing, electric wirings and kitchen equipments. It could be our burdens if ever that my family is living in our own house, since we could not afford that yet, these changes are kind a bonus for us. Imagine we don’t have to shovel the snow and fix many of our Condo fixtures. We have new faucets, gosh!!! It is shining like stars. It could be from the discount Grohe faucet. Well, it doesn’t matter where it came from. I don’t pay for them and it’s my prize to enjoy them while we are staying in this lovely place.
Busy amazing Saturday, it’s not me! It’s the people I saw inside the mall. It seems that last month Canada did not increase its unemployed to 129,000 (jobless). In weekdays, you can hardly see hundred’s of people crowding the coffee shops, cafeteria’s and kid’s playground. This time, there are more kids outdoors since parents like me who could not find job and lost jobs have extra time for their tots roaming around the mall while thinking what to do with our lives with these ballooning bad economies.
I was happy to see them around at the same time sad because these could mean worsening the situation which we have no control at the moment. I don’t even know what to do with my life wasting my credentials that sucked all my savings. I applied many job openings religiously and polished my resume to the extent that sometimes I applied job lower than my degree requires, as long as I am qualified. Still it’s not working even employment consultants could not do anything with any jobs but say blah blah blah. I am still HOPEFUL.

My wandering’s and a torn scarf. I was following my over energize tot’s, I was walking fast and ripppp! My scarf got stuck in one of the mall wanderers’ laptop computer. I mean, it looks like a laptop computer but actually it was a Rackmount monitor. I don’t mind with my tore scarf, it’s my fault anyway. I am just surprised how a rack mount monitor could be used the same as a normal computer. It’s even more high-tech because they can just mount or bolted it to any computer equipment. Wow!
How much You Save and It’s Effect To The Economy

Consumers spending are dwindling, businesses sells are falling, bankruptcy rate is increasing, bail out is growing and we are losing confidence to our anemic economy. Where are we going? There is no way out, but stay and continue saving ourselves from these politically driven economies. There are countless stories about saving’s in order to survive the crisis. The more we ask ourselves and the rest of the households to save and spend cash wisely, the greater it affects the entire economy. In economics, SAVING is equal to INVESTMENT, and investment is one of the sectors of our Gross Domestic Product (GDP) or simply aggregate output. Investments create jobs, goods and services. Thus, if this is less or reducing it will definitely reduce nation’s consumption, exports, and government spending in the long-run (cost cutting).
Personally, I spend less because that is how much income coming in to the household. If, we have extra cash that would be saved in the bank and bank will make used of it by extending loans or credits. But if you choose to hold your cash or keep it at home, then money, jobs, goods and services will never be created. In short, gross domestic output will not expand or worst decline.
Are you back in shape? Is the extra weight you gained during the holidays is out of your system? I hope so! It is because lately I have read quite many reviews from the bloggers that they are still facing and on the way of losing weight. Count me in! I also gained extra pounds for the last three months foods splurging. I needed to shed extra weight as well because my hubby is already started asking if I am pregnant. Gosh! My tummy is really showing the preggy bumps. Are you familiar with alli weight loss pill? Just asking because it sure saying something about losing my bumps. I am still browsing though. I hope I could find the diet pill my Aunt used last year. For now, I continue doing jogging and balance diet.

Zip you’re purse and pay the bills of the Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year’s extravaganditures. Bad for you and good for me! Why? It is because I don’t indulge in spending when my income is way to low. Believe me! Asking you to settle your holiday debts is an excellent advice and do not use this Valentine’s Day thingy to explore another card swiping escapade. May it be neither debit nor credit card, stick to the IOU’s and you will be rewarded with relief that is priceless.
What is the first thing in you’re wish list? Personally, I could not say number one on the list should be done first than the rest. In general, what are written on the wish list may be accomplished sooner, later or in the future. Well, this is what I see it! If it’s done in order is much better but it’s unlikely. I love to have branded clothes, shoes and accessories like from Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Manolo Blahnik and Cartier watch. One of each brand is heaven and to have them all are paradise. I am not wishing against wish, it will happen someday. Gee! It is like I am wishing for Santa to come in February. I must be dreaming to have them, wake up!!
I read a column about monogamy from the statement of Kate Hudson, who said that she finds “monogamy difficult because she is “ruled” by her sexual energy” (canadalifestyleyahoo). It could be true because we are animals, right! An individual is mold with culture, traditions, religion, morality and rational. These are the reasons why we behave sensibly and it rules our actions. If we fall below the logical parameters, then we are the talk of the gossipmongers who pushes the rules of being rational stronger. It also happens to animals that choose they’re mate wisely.
Last week my hubby asked when and where we are going to see and splurge the sun and sand. My jaw dropped like with loosen hinges, he is dreaming a sweet paradise like a Winter Toronto could ever dream for, and with money and time hindrances. Though, I and my son could definitely enjoy the great sea of the east in spring or summer may be at the Outer Banks since it is closer to my sister’s in-laws who are living in the North Carolina. I was there few years back but I was not able to indulge the sea.
What a relief!!! Hmmm, aaahhhh! We’ve been living in this Condo for months now and months of inhaling the sticky carpet. Stench of animal urine, the previous occupants of this Condo may be having dog or cat. Whatever! Just take the smell out! The winter months are good for us, since there were no or less stench emission from under the carpet. But in spring to fall we will definitely smell the terrible odor. Today, the Condo management at last steam cleaned our carpet and if ever the smell will explode a stench, they will change some parts of the carpet.
