I mentioned last week about my job interview in the University. How ready I am to move to another City and in fact prepared myself like went to the University before the D-day will come, get lost and got migraine because of the long drive. I proved to myself that I am interested of the job, studied the history of the institution and the department that interviewed me. I was ready, physically, intellectually and equipped with information, and answers for all the questions that thrown to me. Eighteen hours later, I received a call and email while waiting for my ride on my way home that I did not get the job because there are better than me.Well, Canadian experience wise I’m totally got a zero rank because I don’t have one. Education wise I assumed that my master degree in one of the Universities in Australia is enough to gain the battle to be one of the workforces. Last but not the least, my 7 years experience in social development as project manager and 5 years experience in academe is not enough as well to be part of the environment where I know I will grow intellectually. Job searching must go on and continue hoping for the best to come without working hard to get it. It must be like winning a lotto, by the way, my hubby get accepted to a new dependable job accompany with good benefits. We knew it before I went to my interview. God will never give all happiness at once right! Otherwise there will be no tomorrow to wait for, and I believe “it would be my chance”.
